I got this designed and tattooed by an awesome young tattooist called Gary Rimmer at revlover ink Isle of Wight. My beautiful Anchor Tattoo on my forarm with birds flying off onto my upper arm
I got this tattoo as I’ve struggled with depression including self harm and an eating disorder, this tattoo to me resembles that I need to alway stay grounded I need to be strong however I’m as free as a bird I can fly and reach heights I have never seen before, I’m breaking free from the world dragging me down

I’ve wanted an anchor tattoo ever for about 6 years now. I got the idea from Hebrews 6:19 which says “we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure”. It also is a symbol that has shown up no matter where I am and continues to remind me that I am anchored to something greater than myself.

For me, this represents stability. It represents safety and security.

This is my anchor tattoo, I got it done about 3 or 4 months ago by Greg at White Lotus Tattoo in California.
To me it represents me escaping from my fears that hold me down, and my fascination of water.. and fear of it.
