My most distinct memory of my grandfather is of his anchor tattoo. He had a few tattoos, but on his forearm was a simple anchor, almost disguised by his long, white hair. He earned his tattoo in the Navy during WWII. Read more on Plump Pinup Life & Style.

Okay so this is the tattoo ill be getting today. The one in the picture is 8 or so inches but mine will be 6. I’ve been going back and forth about where I want to get it and I’m still not 100% sure. But I obviously need to decide soon. I’ve narrowed it down to getting it on my lower back (like where it is in the picture) or a little higher up like on my shoulder. I REALLY NEED OPINIONS. so whoever you are, if you read this, what do you think? I need help deciding guys lol.

Hey! I'm thinking about getting a full colour anchor tattoo on the inside of my bicep, but I'm worried it might look kinda butch? I'd love your opinion on this!

That would look awesome! Especially in full color :) I dont think that would look butch, I think the outside of the bicep/upper arm looks more butch than that, lol

Hi what do you think of a guy with an anchor tattoo? I love anchors and im not in the navy or a sailor. I am 20yrs old with a family wife and 2 kids i cant think of a good reason to get one besides i love the way they are shape and all. My father gave me a gold necklace of an anchor with god in the middle and on the other side the virgen of Guadalupe. its double sided I'm Hispanic my father is from Camargo Tamaulipas. I was born here in the us. Anyway what do you think? Thanks in advance

I think guys with anchor tattoos are awesome! I just don’t blog any pictures of guys with anchor tattoos because the whole premise is that i’m a chick with an anchor tattoo blogging other chicks with anchor tattoos, but if you get one you can certainly submit your picture! :)

I want an anchor tattoo, to cover up my lower back tattoo that I got when I was younger, but I can not seem to find where anyone has ever got a anchor as a lower back tattoo, and I was just curious on if that would look bad ?

I was planning on getting an anchor tattoo, in order to cover up my old tattoo, but it's on my lower back and i was just wondering if an anchor tattoo would look okay, in the center of my lower back ?

I think it would look perfectly fine! You just need to find a great artist that can do cover ups :) I dont think the lower back is a bad place for it at all, i just havent come across any to blog i guess? I’ll try and post some!
